McQueens Flowers at The Garden Museum’s British Flowers Week Exhibition
The Garden Museum’s annual British Flowers Week exhibition is returning 9 – 13 June in partnership with New Covent Garden Market. Alongside four leading florists - Frida Kim, Harriet Parry Flowers, Kate Wren Flowers, and Wagner Kreusch, we are are honoured to be creating a thought-provoking installation with seasonal, sustainably-sourced, British-grown flowers.
The McQueens Flower School team, from left to right: Anastasia McGrellis, Christophe Berreterot, Sophie Powell, and Theo Goffe.
Inspired by this year’s theme of ‘The Future’ - our design and concept will be led by the tutors of McQueens Flower School, renowned for their creative exploration, forward-thinking approach and their championing of sustainable floristry techniques.
Whilst we don’t want to reveal too much ahead of next week’s exhibition we can share that the team’s installation will be based in the Garden Museum’s greenhouse where the team will be creating a symbolic and thoughtful response to the brief - with our flower school students (the future of floristry) very much at the heart of the concept!Join us for these special events during the British Flowers Week Exhibition programme -
British Flowers Week Panel Talk - hosted by past exhibitor, Hazel Gardiner, all five participating florists will be gathering to discuss their designs, the joys and challenges of the industry and of course the future of floristry.
