We have been excitedly following the adventures of our colleagues at McQueens Korea with the launch of our first international flower school based in Seoul. Members of our London team have enjoyed Korean hospitality as the project has developed with our most senior florist Zibi Zabara working closely with McQueens Korea and is now based in Soul for the next 12 months. So we were very excited to reciprocate the hospitality with a warm welcome to HyeWon Lee who will be hosting classes at McQueens Flower School in Korea.
Where did your passion for flowers come from?I have always been fascinated by flowers from a very early age. I am very passionate about cooking and I chose to refine my skills and spent time studying at various cooking schools. I love to entertain at home and for me flowers complete the scene for any great party or event. Flowers have the power to change a mood and they never fail to lift my spirits. My husband is a football player and often travels around the world and he always sends me flowers and he notices how happy they make me feel!
